Who this course is for

You’re applying for a licence — remote or manned — and need an initial ELP rating, or your existing rating has expired and you need a re-test.

It’s included in every ALTUS RPC course. The standalone assessment is for everyone else and can be done at ALTUS.

Syllabus

What you’ll learn

The assessment

Assessment per SA-CATS 61 (CAR 71.01.6), delivered in-house: a short preparation session on the assessment format, then the structured listening and speaking evaluation itself.

Format

How training runs

One day at Waterfall City, Midrand: ELP assessment. Your rating is issued on the outcome of the structured evaluation.

What you leave with

An ELP rating per SA-CATS 61 on your file — the language requirement met for your licence application or renewal.
